Three races to prepare Northern California Mountain Bike Racers for the upcoming Cross Country Race Season.

Courses will be three to five miles in length, featuring all aspects of mountain bike racing; fire roads, single track, NO big rock drops!, grass sections, gradual and difficult climbs, fast and tricky descents.

Race distances will increase throughout the series to build strength and fitness, leading up to the Sea Otter Classic race.

Locations: Race #1 is at the 7th Day Adventist Conference Grounds in Soquel. Here are the directions. Race #2 will be at a yet-to-be-determined site in Fort Ord. Either Manzanita Park in Prunedale or Fort Ord in Monterey has yet to be confirmed for Race #3.

IMPORTANT: Race 1 is at a church conference center. There is absolutely no pre-riding or practicing on Saturdays. In fact, the property is completely off limits on Saturdays. Also, at the owner's request, there are no dogs or pets welcome at this site. Your cooperation assures future races at this site.

Entry Fee: $25 per race-- onsite registration only, no late fees. All races sanctioned by the NCNCA. Additional $3 without current (2002) NCNCA license.
